The Standing Group on International Relations is a European ECPR broad-based Standing Group where IR specialists from different sectors of activity - universities, independent research institutes and public administration - are brought together to promote scholarly activities.
The SGIR is led by a Steering Committee which is elected every 3 years. The main activities of the SGIR range from organising major conferences, summer schools and publishing books and journals and maintaining a website and mailing list.
The 2009 CEEISA conference will investigate different kinds of ‘borders’ vis-รก-vis their effects on international relations and International Relations.
