Standing Group on International Relations
The Standing Group on International Relations is a European ECPR broad-based Standing Group where IR specialists from different sectors of activity - universities, independent research institutes and public administration - are brought together to promote scholarly activities.
The SGIR is led by a Steering Committee which is elected every 3 years. The main activities of the SGIR range from organising major conferences, summer schools and publishing books and journals and maintaining a website and mailing list.

Call for proposals for two Young Researchers Workshops.
Sunday, June 14th, 2009With ‘Young Researchers Workshops (YRW)’ the Standing Group of International Relations (SGIR) of the ECPR offers an opportunity for young scholars (advanced doctoral students and recent post-docs) to familiarize themselves with academic conferencing. Preparing for the 2010 Pan-European Conference, calls for proposals for the YRWs are now open.
