The Standing Group on International Relations is a European ECPR broad-based Standing Group where IR specialists from different sectors of activity - universities, independent research institutes and public administration - are brought together to promote scholarly activities.
The SGIR is led by a Steering Committee which is elected every 3 years. The main activities of the SGIR range from organising major conferences, summer schools and publishing books and journals and maintaining a website and mailing list.
Palgrave Studies in International Relations, produced in association with the ECPR Standing Group for International Relations, provides students and scholars with the best theoretically-informed scholarship on the global issues of our time. 4 books have already been published.
